Excursions by Bus


The bus takes you to Omalos at the entrance of the Samaria Gorge. It is about 16 km long, the longest in Europe. The smallest point (Iron Gates) is 3 meters wide and 600 meters high.

You walk through the most breathtaking sceneries on the island. There are ancient pine and cypress forests, rare plants, soaring eagles and the stunning White Mountains. It is also the domain of the wild goat Kri-kri.

At the end of the gorge you arrive in the village Agia Roumeli. You can swim in the crystal sea or eat and drink something in one of the many taverns. You take the boat to Chora Sfakion where the bus will be waiting to bring you back.


The bus brings you to Kissamos where you take the boat. In about one hour you reach the island of Gramvoussa. You can visit the Venetian Castle, which is built on the top of a rock at 137 m above sea level.

The spectacular view, the stunning landscape and the legend of the pirates hidden treasure is an attraction you don’t want to miss. You have time to swim in the crystal clear water and enjoy the fresh food the crew prepares on board (not included).

Then the boat will set of to the Lagoon of Balos for more swimming in the jade-coloured water and for some lazy sunbathing on the white sand. At the end of the afternoon you sail back to Kissamos where the bus waits to bring you back to your hotel.

Excursions byJeep


This is a real adventure! An extraordinary trip with Jeeps through the rough mountains, along the beautiful south coast. You start the day following the guide, heading to Vori. From there you drive through the mountains and the Messara Valley. You see amazing views while driving on dirt roads, through small canyons and along mountain sides.

In Lendas you enjoy lunch in a typical tavern and there is time for a swim. In the late afternoon you drive your jeep along the breathtaking south coast, direction home. Take a hat, your swimsuit and sun cream and don’t forget your camera!
